Inovasi bahan pangan lokal dapat memberikan nilai tambah dan meningkatkan nilai jual bahan pangan tersebut. Buku resep tidak hanya sebagai panduan memasak, tetapi juga sebagai media untuk mendapatkan informasi dan memperluas pemahaman. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuat buku resep inovasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di ruang dokumen Jurusan 3 dan perpustakaan Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu pada bulan juni 2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah laporan tugas akhir mahasiswa jurusan 3 terkait 3 pangan. Dari hasil identifikasi laporan tugas akhir mahasiswa Jurusan 3, didapatkan 33 resep inovasi yang didapatkan dari ruang dokumen Jurusan dan 12 resep didapatkan dari perpustakaan Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu. Selanjutnya peneliti mengelompokkan resep tersebut dan menelusuri resep beserta bahan, cara pembuatan, kandungan 3 dan foto produk. Hasil yang telah diperoleh tersebut kemudian dibuatkan sebuah buku yang berjudul buku resep inovasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah dibuat buku resep inovasi, sebagai salah satu alat bantu dalam kegiatan ilmu teknologi pangan dalam pembuatan resep bahan makanan campuran (BMC).
